THE ROAD COMMISSION WANTS YOU TO KNOW . . .

The Cass County Road Commission has adjusted some services this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the reduction in funding. Roadside mowing, pothole patching and tree trimming/tree removal services have been reduced. The temporary and seasonal part time employees hired to help with these services unfortunately have been eliminated this year.

What does this mean?

In order to complete paving projects, all current full-time employees are needed. Once projects are complete or time as it becomes available these other services will be done.

How can you help?

Many in the farming community and county residents already take care of roadside mowing within the right-of-way and this does not go unnoticed. We thank you for that. If you own property or have an area that needs to be mowed and can help; please do so.

If residents have any questions or concerns they may reach out to the Cass County Road Commission at 269-445-8611 or twyman@casscoroadmi.gov.
